The 2018 Republican candidates for Madison Borough Council, Kathy Dailey and Mark Chiarolanza, were thrilled to welcome the entire Republican ticket for Madison's Bottle Hill Day on October 6.  "Every Republican who is on the ballot for Madison voters came to visit Madison and speak with Madison residents today," commented Kathy Dailey.  "It shows what a signature event Bottle Hill Day has become in northern New Jersey, thanks to the hard work of all the folks in our dedicated Downtown Development Commission."

"I enjoyed having the opportunity to introduce Senate Candidate Bob Hugin to the members of our Madison community," remarked Mark Chiarolanza.  Bob Hugin is a business leader who has a history of service to his country and his community, including years of active duty service in the U.S. Marine Corps.  If elected to represent New Jersey in the U.S. Senate, Hugin says he will be "an independent voice for New Jersey" who will "put people before politics."

While Mark spent time with Bob Hugin, Kathy visited church and community-related booths with Jay Webber.   Jay Webber currently serves as an Assemblyman in the NJ legislature and is running for U.S. Congress to represent NJ's 11th District, which includes Madison.  Webber is hoping to replace Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen, who has decided to retire after serving 25 years in the U.S. Congress.   Jay Webber has a proven record opposing tax increases and corporate welfare.  He believes that all New Jerseyans deserve tax relief, and pledges to work to cut taxes, support pro-growth policies for NJ families and our businesses, and ban sanctuary cities.

Also in town for the annual street festival were Morris County Clerk Ann Grossi, who is seeking re-election; Morris County Freeholder candidates John Krickus, Stephen Shaw, and Freeholder Deb Smith, who is seeking a second term; Morris County Freeholder Heather Darling; Morris County Sheriff Jim Gannon; New Jersey Assemblyman Anthony Bucco (D6); and Madison Borough Councilman Pat Rowe.
