Poll Workers

Poll Workers are trained to aid voters on Election Day, guide them through the voting process, and answer any questions voters have. They are a vital part of every election!

Poll workers earn $300 for working on Election Day and $21.43 per hour on in-person Early Voting days. If you are interested in becoming a poll worker, find out more at the Morris County Board of Elections website

Challengers

Challengers are appointed to observe the conduct of an election on behalf of a candidate, a political party, or the proponents or opponents of a question.  The primary duty of a Challenger is to observe the election, keep a record of who voted, and challenge any voter for whom they have a reasonable basis to believe is not qualified to vote.

We need many volunteers to serve as Challengers before election day at early voting locations in Morris County, at Madison polling locations on election day, or at the Division of Elections during the counting of Vote-By-Mail and provisional ballots.

See our great republic in action, firsthand, and enjoy the feeling that comes with contributing to your local community, your state and your country! For more information or to volunteer as a Challenger on behalf of the Madison Republican Committee, please email us at MadisonNJRepublicans@gmail.com.
