Kathy Dailey, Republican candidate for Madison Borough Council in 2018, released the following statement today supporting other candidates on the ballot for the Primary election that will take place on June 5, 2018.

"People have been asking me who I feel are the best candidates for Madison and Morris County.  I have had the opportunity to meet nearly every Republican candidate on the ballot for Madison voters - and I have to say, we are very fortunate to have many terrific candidates at every level in this primary election!  On its Facebook page, the Madison Republican Committee has provided links to debates for our Republican Freeholder Candidates and Congressional candidates.  I encourage everyone to take some time to watch those debates - they are just a little over an hour each.  If you haven't had the opportunity to meet the candidates yourself and speak with them, then watching these debates is the next best thing!

"For myself, I have determined that there are a few folks who stand out from the crowd and whom I believe will be the best choice for my family, my community and my state.

"I support Jay Webber for Congress (NJ-11). Jay lives here in Morris County, in Morris Plains, and has been a solid conservative voice in the NJ General Assembly for the last decade representing the 26th Legislative District.  He has a proven record of fiscal restraint and standing for family values. He is a tax fighter and will defend our constitutional rights and life.

"I support Aura Dunn for Morris County Freeholder.  Aura lives in Mendham and has been part of Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen’s staff for the last few years.  Her background and experience are in public affairs and government, and she is adept at solving problems, big and small. She and her running-mate John Cesaro understand that good governance for Morris County requires that our freeholders practice sound fiscal management, promote economic development and improve the quality of life for all Morris County Residents.

"I also support John Cesaro for Morris County Freeholder.  John lives in Parsippany and is currently completing his first term on the Board of Freeholders.  As a freeholder, he worked to pass three consecutive budgets with zero-percent increases, and he is the freeholder liason to Public Works, which has  been undergoing an aggressive road pavement program. Like his running-mate Aura Dunn, he is committed to protecting, conserving and making the best use of Morris County’s resources.

"I support Ann Grossi for County Clerk.  If you have had an opportunity to use the services of the county clerk’s office recently, then you already know how efficiently the office runs.  This doesn’t happen by accident - it requires an inspiring and attentive operations management team, which has been led by Ann since 2014. Ann lives in Parsippany, and I’m voting for her because I would like to see her keep up the good work.

"I encourage all registered voters to go out and vote on June 5!  The polls open at 6AM and they don't close until 8PM - please take some time during those hours to visit your polling location and make your voice heard."
